Opinions
Sylwia/Kanada: Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I want to live in Poland now more than ever . I hope to one day call myself Krakowian and thanks to Varia. I am now one step closer.
Halina/Australia: Cze¶æ. Thank you so much for a wonderful course. I have so many great memories. The cultural programme was excellent. Will be recommending your course back in Australia.

Linda/Germany: My stay in Krakow was one of the best holidays I have ever had. Krakow is most beautiful and very tourist-friendly thanks to the small Old Town. The school fulfilled all my expectations. The organisational matters related to accommodation were dealt with very skillfully.
Monika, my teacher was most kind. It's hard to believe that someone can be so patient and always in an excellent mood. Also, the cultural programme suited my needs ideally. If I was to spend these 2 weeks without Varia, I wouldn't experience so many amazing moments. Thanks a lot!

Helge/Germany: In my opinion, the school and the lessons were great – especially when compared with my Polish classes at the university. I keep my fingers crossed – keep it up! The cultural programme was 'well-dosed' and the Varia staff deserves a real praise for their round-the-clock willingness to help. For me, the stay in Krakow has been a real success. I have learned a lot. Thank you.
Patrick: I am listening to the CD I got from you and I would like to thank you once again, not only for the CD, but for the two weeks I spent in Kraków! Thanks to you I had a fresh and thorough look at the extraordinary place. Unfortunately, two weeks are not enough to explore the whole city, and that's why I'm all the more happy about my next visit. Right now I know that if I need any information about Kraków's cultural or night life, I have someone to turn to.
Dr. Hans - Juergen Frank: I had a very nice time with you in Kraków and most surely I will come once again, maybe next year. My wife is absolutely enchanted with Kraków in the photos I have taken, so I may bring her along. I frequently turn my thoughts to you and tell others about the wonderful time I had.
Jan: It was really great. Marvellous. I'm glad I decided to go at the very last minute.
Christof: Eh.these Polish girls are so beautiful. a true inspiration to learn Polish ? I do hope I'll manage to find a proper course of Polish in Munich and next time we shall speak only Polish.

Adam: I had no idea that you can learn and see so much within two weeks' time. I will definitely recommend you to the people at my university. For a person who has not yet been to Kraków it's absolutely necessary to contact you.
Angelika: Best regards to Sylwia, Bartek and Magda who were my hosts during the stay in Kraków. They promised to keep a vacancy for me when I'm back to Kraków for Socrates Erasmus scholarship. They are such a graet comapny! I may not have spent enough time doing my homework but I have learned a lot nonetheless.
Dorothy: I've got a feeling that I am addicted to you and Kraków. It is a must to come back next year (that will make the fourth time ? ) I'm going to book the July course straight away!
Hania: I may be back to Prague now but I miss Kraków still; I miss the place, the people, Jurek would say, the wicked days ?. The two weeks were for me an unforgettable experience, every day brought something unusual. Thanks. A lot. I hope we'll met again soon! Feel welcome to visit Prague! Could you possibly send over some photos so that they could remind me of the great people I met and the cool places I visited and to make me miss you even more?
Benjamin: It's been two weeks since I came back to Prague. Thank you so much for sending over the certificate, the photos, and the CD with Polish music (which is continuously on ? ). My only regret is that I couldn't make it for the farewell party and say good-bye to you in person, but I am sure I'll come back. Thanks to you I returned home full of new impressions. I must admit that as a complete beginner in Polish I was a bit afraid of the course. Luckily, thanks to your help, my initial doubts dispersed and Polish turned out to be my new hobby. I just can't wait to take another course ?. I'm quite a regular guest in Kraków and I thought I had known the city fairly well and then surprise, surprise! Having seen the city with you I realized how many places I have left unexplored. The tour around Nowa Huta, the communist part of the city, with Ewa as our excellent guide, was really unusual. Not to mention our daily explorations of Kraków's night life and the famous clubs and pubs. Even if I am quite over 20, I remembered the good old times when you are a light-hearted student. Thanks once again and see you!
Susanne: Absolutely - Kasia and aneta were so friendly. I felt well looked after from the start.I would stay longer but I can't. The course has been excellent in all aspects. I will definetely reccomend it.
Andy: First this was an excellent and enjoyable course that I would recommend to any one wanting to learn Polish and there are hundreds of reasons why you should learn Polish. Not least what a wonderful country Poland is, a country with the most beautiful women in the whole world. Also Polish language is different not terrible and hard as too many Poles keep trying to tell me.
Second what made it enjoyable and excellent?
First an approach to the students by the owners/organisers Aneta and Kasia that immediately puts you at your ease. You are encouraged to ask questions and make comments. I stumbled on Varia the month before I came to do the course and the friendly, honest and open way my questions were dealt with made me feel this was the course I had been looking for years. Nothing is too much trouble for the organisers.
Second the way the course takes you beyond the classroom is imaginative. It also makes you feel at home in different settings and able to try to speak Polish. Stopping strangers in the street to ask the way becomes a pleasure not a stressful task. Because on the course you have learnt that fluency is better than attempting perfectly pronounced Polish.
Third the location of Varia is excellent Karmelicka.is a wonderful street not a tourist street but full of shops and offices and people but so accessible from other parts of the city and so close to the Rynek.
All in all this was one of the best experiences of my life My confidence to speak Polish has increased immeasurably and my love of Poland is stronger than ever. I felt that I really lived in Krakow for that two weeks rather than just visiting as I had done in the past.
Magda:
Thanks a lot to you all! The girls were amazed: the school, teachers, other students, food, pubs, cafes and discos... They have surely made new friends, cause they are sending mails all day long. They now keep learning Polish every day and they're going to take part in your course again, but this time, in the one for the advanced students.
I know for sure they have been bitten by the bug of the Polish language and that they will look back to the holidays with pleasure! They simply didn't want to come back!

Nick: Now I’m back in the office in London (sadly), I just wanted to drop you a line or two to say thank you for making my trip to Poland such a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, meeting everyone at Varia and I’ve ended up having fallen in love with your city so I think it’s pretty certain you haven’t seen the last of me!
I’ve started looking at my options for continuing with my Polish here as I don’t intend Magda’s hard work in helping me acquire some Polish go to waste.
I also wanted to say nice it was meeting Pani Anna at her house in Goetla Street. It was a pleasure staying in her home and she was a delightful hostess.
Jürgen: I really enjoyed Kraków, I enjoyed the group and Ola and Ewa as teachers. Aneta and Katarzyna organized
perfectly everything around the course. Vincent, Virginie, Veronica, Juan – I will miss you! I especially liked
the bike tour and Marta's guidance through the center and Kazimierz.
Finally, this course made me improve a lot my Polish!
