We put positive emotions and lots of heart into everything we do at Varia. We create a place where our students feel at home, make friends with people from all over the world and enjoy learning Polish.

Good atmosphere, friendly environment – learning Polish is supposed to be a pleasure!

The mission of our school is to constantly take care of good emotions. We want our students to enjoy learning Polish and eagerly take part in the Polish language courses we organize online and at school.

In order to be able to fully realize our mission, at Varia Polish language learning also goes beyond school… We focus on the practical use of the Polish language. We focus on integration and motivation. We believe that the best way to quickly master a foreign language, is an irresistible desire to learn it. Without proper motivation, without seeing the benefits of speaking Polish, the process of learning Polish can become much longer….

„And where are you from and what is your name?” – say it in Polish!

Polish is the common language of our students. At Varia, we create space for students to build relationships and learn about Polish from a different, less „school” side. In our Polish language courses, we organize numerous integration and conversation meetings for students, workshops on Polish culture, outdoor lessons…. All these activities allow our foreign students not only to get to know the living, everyday language spoken by Poles, but also give them the opportunity to get to know each other better, to make new acquaintances, friendships. Thanks to regular extracurricular meetings, the atmosphere in Polish classes undoubtedly becomes more intimate, students more willingly and actively participate in classes and rarely miss lessons.

Polish language connects us! Varia connects us!

The most popular are our periodic integration meetings, which we organize at the beginning of each semester’s Polish language course. They are attended by 150 to even 250 of our students from intensive, year-long, weekend Polish language courses, among others. Such events are an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, consolidate (newly) acquired knowledge in a more relaxed atmosphere, as well as to taste various Polish snacks (handmade by us!). At integration meetings, our students always have a great time. They also have a lot of fun talking to people from their own country, whom they meet by chance at our events. And there is always something to talk about! Moving to Poland, Polish schools, kindergartens, Polish in-laws, Polish cuisine – these are the most common topics for our students.

Online Polish students – this time „live”

Our extracurricular meetings are also attended by quite a number of students from online Polish courses who live in Krakow or nearby towns. Talking „live” with other students, practicing Polish in everyday situations, having coffee or beer together in the evening is an extremely valuable experience for them and is an important source of strengthening their motivation to learn Polish.

We believe that education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also about building bonds and community. This approach is appreciated by our Polish language students, who praise our commitment to each student’s learning process, our rich cultural program and the exceptional atmosphere during lessons and social events.
