What does the one-year Polish language course look like?

• Learning the Polish language

You can sign up for Varia’s one-year Polish language course at any time. The course includes three semester Polish language courses and one intensive course in addition to individual lessons as well as multiple workshops, integrational events and lectures, providing a total of up to 250 hours of instruction. During the one-year Polish language course each student can master one language level. This flexible approach allows the course to be tailored to each student’s individual needs.

Group classes are held twice a week, which allows regular contact with the language and promotes systematic learning. During the intensive course, classes are held five times a week for four lessons each, which allows for very rapid language progress in a short period of time. Our teachers emphasize the practical use of the language, so our students are able to hold everyday conversations in Polish.

Remember that when leaving our school, you are in the very center of Kraków’s cultural life.  You are close to everything.  Krakow – one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with its rich history and tradition – is an ideal place to learn language and culture. That’s why we’ve expanded the course program to include workshops on the Polish language and Polish traditions, walking tours of Krakow and team-building meetings that allow students to fully immerse themselves in Polish culture.

Kraków has much to offer. After class, you can visit the National Museum, tour Wawel Castle, stroll the picturesque streets of Kazimierz, or relax in the cafes of the Main Square. Our team will be happy to advise you on what to see and where to go.

• Support in legalizing of your stay in Poland

At Varia Polish Language Center, we offer you the opportunity to legalize your stay in Poland by attending a one-year Polish language and culture course. Our course meets visa requirements and can be used in the process of applying for a temporary residence card. After registration and providing a payment, you will receive from us an official certificate of participation in the course, which you can present at the consulate or office to legalize your stay. If, for reasons beyond your control, you are unable to obtain a visa or residence card, Varia guarantees a refund of the course fee, less only administrative costs.

What documents should I prepare to apply for residency in Poland?

For those applying for a temporary residence card, we have prepared a detailed list of documents required by the Office for Foreigners. With us you will get a certificate of enrolment in a Polish language course and a schedule of lessons. In addition, the office requires such documents as a copy of your passport, passport photos, confirmation of registration, confirmation of health insurance and bank statement.
